Miss Piggy now has a fabulous fashion line
As if Miss Piggy weren't already fabulous enough, she now has a couture fashion line. Fashion label Kate Spade New York just announced the Disney Miss Piggy Collection, which was inspired by the stylish muppet -- and no one is more excited than Miss Piggy herself. "It was a true partnership between moi and Kate Spade New York’s president and chief creative officer, Deborah Lloyd," Miss Piggy said in a statement sent to Mashable. "You’ll see my personality shine through in pops of pink and sparkle plus my notable quotes and French phrases like 'Who, Moi!'" Kate Spade's press release explains more about the brand's decision to work with the muppet: "Kate Spade New York celebrates interesting women leading interesting lives, and Miss Piggy continues to represent the very definition of an interesting, strong, independent, mesmerizing, tantalizing, and irresistibly fabulous woman of this millennium...or any other." The Disney Miss Piggy Collection includes a wristlet, clutch, tote, wallet, necklace, keychain, sweater, stud earrings and iPhone cases. "I feel that Miss Piggy is perfect for us. She really represents the definition of an interesting, strong, independent, mesmerizing, tantalizing, fabulous woman," Deborah Lloyd, the company's president and chief creative officer, said in a statement. "She was the perfect girl to represent us for [the holidays], and her favorite color is pink. She’s the quintessential fashionista." Jourdan Dunn (a supermodel, chef, philanthropist and mother) and Catherine Baba (a Paris-based stylist, creative consultant and designer) join Miss Piggy in the holiday 2016 campaign. The Disney Miss Piggy Collection's prices range from $48 - $378, and will be available on www.katespade.com and at Kate Spade specialty stores and Nordstrom on Dec. 1.BONUS: Simply Delicious Shower Thoughts with Cookie Monster
