How to watch Google's big event
On Tuesday, Oct. 4, Google will host its biggest hardware event of the year. If you're not in San Francisco to see what Google has up its sleeve live, you can still tune in for all the action online. The tech giant is rumored to debut two new Pixel smart phones, Google Home, a VR headset (potentially a collaboration with Cardboard), a new Chromecast, Google Wi-Fi, a new Android tablet, Android accessories, and Android + Chrome (for a second go around). Yes, that's a lot of gadgets, some of which will have the new "Made by Google" branding, and all eyes in the tech world will be on Google to see if it will present itself as a new force to be reckoned with. We’re not saying anything until tomorrow. #madebygoogle pic.twitter.com/B6caqnhBrw The event starts on Oct. 4 at 9 a.m. PT. You can stream the event liveby tuning in to Google's YouTube page. The video is also embedded here, below. Google also has a new Twitter account, Made by Google, and a new website under the same name, so you might want to keep an eye on those, too. Of course, Mashablewill be there in San Francisco to cover the event live. Social media: You can also follow us on Twitter and Facebook for additional real-time coverage (and a Facebook Live video before and after the event). As for what you might expect, here's a detailed list of things you can expect at today's event, and here are nearly all the (leaked) specs of Google's upcoming Pixel and PIxel XL phones. TopicsGoogle
